ASAI Architecture in Perspective 28

DEADLINE 1st February 2013



AAAI members are invited by the American Society of Architectural Illustrators to enter their annual international competition and exhibition. Through this competition the Society recognizes its members' extraordinary work, presenting it in major venues worldwide over the course of a year. Selected artwork is also reproduced in a companion catalogue. This year will also feature the newly introduced Observational category. Students are encouraged to enter.

38th Annual Ken Roberts Memorial Delineation Competition.
All entries must be of an architectural nature, and must be authored by one individual. Entries can be elevations, sections, or perspectives, and can be conceptual or final renderings. Exploration and innovation in unique techniques are encouraged.

INVITATION to AAAI
JARA Exhibition 2012
Deadline 30th July



The Japanese Architectural Renderers Association (JARA) has invited AAAI members to participate in their annual exhibition the “JARA Exhibition 2012” to be held in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya. Four to five artworks will be selected for display.
JARA will frame your artwork at no cost to you.
All you need to do is just send your file (jpeg, around 7MB) and the description of your artwork (Name, Title, Architect, Company, Media, etc)

Visualizing  Architectural Design Exhibition,Tokyo



Fifteen images were chosen by our distinguished jury, Chris Grubbs, Jon Kletzien and Philip Follent, for inclusion in the AAAI Visualizing Architectural Design (VAD) Exhibition, which opened in Tokyo, 26th September, 2011 and later in Osaka.
Congratulations to those that were selected. The competition was tough!
We asked the jury to pick a "Best of Show" and comment on their own personal favourites.

ASAI Conference and VAD AIP26 Exhibition


The American Society of Architectural Illustrators held their 26th Conference at Tokyo, Japan this October. Highlights included the Visualizing Architectural Design Exhibition which included the work of 14 AAAI members.
